Science classes

This week we continued the topic ""healthy and unhealthy" including food ,way of life etc.As we know there are four states of matter and we got acquainted with three of them :solid,liquid and gas.
We shared our thoughts and experience that we come across using those materials in everyday life.

Math fun

We traced and wrote numbers in order up to 20 in groups.

We practiced again some subtraction problems through a kind of a game.

Subtraction using fingers is also very helpful.

RWI sessions

This week we have learnt two more sounds from the speech sound set:"y" and "w".And the children practiced a lot the formation of these sounds with air-handwriting.The new words for these sounds are:For w-witch,web,wood and window

For y-yak,yogurt,yawn,yo-yo

During ""free reading time" we tried to find one of the sight words "the" in story books.Here are the list of them

         

                                                            


                                  
                                                       
This is a short story from the words that we already learnt,but here we can see "the tricky words" that the children can memorize by eyesight.
