Read Write Inc.-Four basic letters and sounds

Dear parents,
Now our children has the opportunity to try themselves to write of some letters.That helps them to memorize the letter  direction.
They have already learnt how to do air writing for "m" saying Maisie mountain mountain. A is "round the apple,down the leaf" ,"slither down the snake" for "s"; and "round his bottom,up to his tall neck and down to his feet" for "d".Here are some pictures of our lovely children writing them.

Read Write Inc.- letter (sound) A

Learning "a" was as much interesting as "m".They tried to pronounce the sound correctly,remember  and write it and learn the words "ant,apple"

Art activity

Planes! They are the dream of every child. Most of them want to have a toy plane,watch plane cartoons or simply just to fly them and be a pilot in the future.
We made lovely planes from pegs, blu tack and sticks.

At last we began to use Read Write Inc.
What is Read Write Inc?
Read Write Inc. was developed by Ruth Miskin and is a whole school literacy programme for 4-11 year olds designed to create fluent readers, confident speakers and willing writers. It helps children to learn reading or writing step by step, getting the whole structure.
Here are some pictures from our first lesson. We learnt letter (sound) "m". Children attempted to write their first letters.
