Dear Parents:
Next week is Book Week! Please send your child's favourite book with them for Monday, the 16th. Children love to dress up, so please have your son/daughter dress up as their favorite character from their book if you'd like. They will have the opportunity to share it with their friends during the week.
Some of the the famous stories we're going to read next week are :
- "Can I play too?," by Mo Willems
- "Ten Apples Up On Top," by Dr. Seuss
- "If you Give a Mouse a Cookie," by Laura Joffe Numeroff
- "Are You My Mother?," by P.D.Eastman.
- "The Little Red Hen," by Byron Barton.
On Wednesday, the 18th, we will receive a visitor who will tell us a special story in our national language.
On Thursday, the 19th, we will visit our Library and Miss Nilufar will share a story with us.
On Friday, the 20th, we will wait for you at our book assembly, which will start 9:00 am. We look forward to seeing you.
